Volunteer Drivers

Who We Are

Volunteer Drivers

What We Do

There are two primary volunteer driver roles:

Delivery volunteers have the honor of delivering clothing mini-wardrobes prepared for the students/families we serve. The delivery team uses their personal vehicles to deliver clothing to schools and partner organizations throughout Wake County. Volunteers are a representation of Note in the Pocket and should interact in a positive and encouraging manner when delivering requests. Drivers must be 21, complete the Volunteer Driver Agreement online or in print form, and provide a copy of the driver's license and insurance policy declarations page.

Off-Site Bin Drivers assist with our collection bins located throughout Wake County.  Drivers pick up donations from these locations and deliver them to us for processing.  Volunteers may choose the off-site location that is most convenient.  Drivers must be 21, complete the Volunteer Driver Agreement online or in print form, and provide a copy of their driver’s license and insurance policy declarations page.
